Effect of heat on energy transfer in the electron-lattice interaction

The interaction between electron and lattice not only affect the energy transfer of photons to electrons but also the energy transition of band edge in semiconductors. Heat play an important role on the interaction between electron and lattice. This paper studies the effect of heat on the energy transfer in the electron-lattice interaction using second-order approximation of perturbation method. The energy transfer in the electron-lattice interaction is considered for an electron shifted from a state near the top of the valence band to the bottom of the valence band. The energy transfer of electron-lattice interaction is calculated in this analysis and is compared with the available measured data.
