EFFECTS OF TEMPERATURE ON ENERGY TRANSFER OF ELECTRON-PHONON INTERACTION FOR SEMICONDUCTORS
The interaction between electron and phonon plays an important role on transport behaviors of carriers, band-gap energy, distribution of carriers, electron conductivity, thermal conductivity, charge mobility, scattering of carriers, etc. Temperature plays an important role on the interaction between electron and phonon. This paper study the effect of temperature on the energy transfer in the electron-phonon interaction using the perturbation method. The energy transfer of electron-lattice interaction is calculated in this analysis and is compared with the available measured data. The maximal frequency of phonon vibration in materials affects the energy variation of electron-phonon interaction with temperature. The form of energy variation of electron-phonon interaction with temperature is relevant to the exponential function for number of quanta.
